Iliotibial Band Release

So it has been done, I had my IT band released on the 2nd and from what I have been told it was successful. Now it is the patience game. I am hobbling around the house every so often getting a quick snap back to reality...right I can't exactly sprint up the stairs. But soon I will attempt some excersize. First I will probably do a spin on the trainer and in no time I will be running.
For now, I kind of feel like Jimmy Stewart in "Rear Window" by Alfred Hitchock helplessly locked in the house. Not a lot to do except work on the computer, strum the guitar, read and catch up on my movie watching. One in particular I would like to mention is "I'm Not There." The story of Bob Dylan. What a fantastic film. At first it is a bit hard to follow but a movie I would recomend to anyone.

Another scene I love because of the song orginally sung by Bob but performed by Jim James & Calexico; Goin' To Acapulco It is the kind of song that just kind of Weighs you down emotionally.

Also went to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist which I though was very well done. Sort of a clever humor and quickly reminded me how much I am Michael Cera. Shit. *Shakes Head

But that is all for now,
Hope all is well,
Andrew

hahaha, you ARE Micheal Cera (sort of)
You know, the running coach of the mcgill triathlon club made up a band called the ITBB (iliotibial band blues). It's actually pretty good, I'm sure some of their stuff is on the net.
Good luck with the recovery, don't go too fast, and Rear Window has to be one of the best movies ever.
